Threshold is a year-long project documenting the ecological importance of the Great Salt Lake through painting and printmaking. The series combines large landscape paintings and monoprints of animal and plant species that tell the story of this unique ecosystem. Through my artwork, I want to create an emotional connection that goes beyond the data and statistics and offers viewers a visual entry point into one of the most significant conservation issues in the American West.
